Job Profile: Staff Software Engineer

Experience : 9.5Yrs to 15Yrs

Education : BE/ME /MCA / PhD

Location : Bangalore

Primary Responsibilities:
The candidate will provide technical leadership in the group by leading and delivering on strategic projects, influencing cross-functional teams and mentoring team members.

Responsibilities include:
1. Drive detailed design and end-to-end technical implementation of software development in support of electronic storage (eStore) platform and Support applications/ tools
2. Lead assigned functional areas within cross-functional groups.
3. Work with the Technical Lead and other engineers to ensure end-to-end designs are consistent with the vision for the system.
4. Work with project manager, technical lead and QA to estimate and schedule resources required for new activities and initiatives.
5. Provide support to the production environment as needed.
6. Provides technical expertise and consultation to business units.
7. Involved in implementing software development best practices and supporting process improvement initiatives.
8. Monitors work done within the projects in the team to ensure compliance with architectural vision and business requirements.

Qualifications :
1. At least 10 years of Software Development experience including 8+ years of solid enterprise in Java.
2. Experience with SOA and SaaS delivery model
3. Experience with ATG Dynamo or any eCommerce suite is a must.
4. Experience in /Unix/Oracle/SQL.
5. Current hands on experience with JEE, XML , AJAX technologies and Soap based web services
6. Experience in developing large-scale, highly available, high-performance systems.
7. The desire to work in a multi-project, highly visible central organization.
8. Ability to multi-task and manage time amongst simultaneous projects.
9. Demonstrate initiative, creativity, and innovation to drive breakthrough solutions to fruition.
