Position: Sr Manager – Operational Risk & Information Security

Experience : 10Yrs to 15Yrs

Joining Location : Bangalore, India

Position brief  :                     

The candidate would be completely responsible for the operational risk and information security function with our Client .  The key objective would be to drive the IS and ORM functions in order to achieve high standards of Information Security and Risk Management which are benchmarked with industry standards and compliant with the requirements of the organization . The candidate would have a team of 5-6 individuals.

Profile of the candidate required

• Around 10+ years experience in IT / BPO services in the Banking / Financial Services Domain.  Preferably in Investment Banking, Capital Markets.
• At least 5+ years should be in a managerial capacity
• Professional Certification in Information Security and Operational Risk.  CISSP / CISA preferred
• Experience in designing and implementing IS policies and processes
• Preferably, hands on experience of ISO:27001
• Deep understanding of information security, risk and compliance in the banking / financial services context
• Demonstrated capability in defining and implementing IS and Risk policies
• Ability to manage and influence multiple stakeholders
• Hands on experience in software development / operations management / project management
• Proven record in driving awareness campaigns and change management
• Ability to convince senior managers to ensure high compliance with IS & ORM requirements
• Ability to define and implement appropriate governance for driving policies and plans
• High level of maturity and understanding on people management at all levels
• High level of motivation and enthusiasm to achieve high level benchmarks
