Roles and responsibility for
Railway System Architect/Sr. Architect :
POSITION: Railway SYSTEM ARCHITECT /SR. ARCHITECT/ MANAGER
LOCATION: HYDERABAD
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: BE/ME/PHD
EXPERIENCE: 9+ years relevant
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Delivery of requirements, architecture and design artefacts for the end products of the R&D programs/projects.
- Delivery of the enabling products in system development and maintenance via the systems engineering processes, supporting tools and infrastructure.
- Function and design recovery for existing systems, products and components as necessary to establish new specification baselines.
- Review of hardware and software lifecycle artefacts during development and conduct of system integration tests.
- Investigation and resolution of system or product level technical issues in hardware development, software development and system integration, cooperatively with safety engineering, verification and validation functions.
- Estimation, planning, development and delivery of systems engineering artefacts on time, according to the budget and to the required quality and safety integrity levels.
- Undertaking work package definition, scope control, technical risk management, lifecycle tailoring and tradeoffs decisions to deliver lifecycle-balanced solutions to customers
- Taking part in system production or leading detailed design and implementation teams; deliver outcomes in accordance with the defined objectives of the program/ project.
Requirements for
Railway System Architect/Sr. Architect :
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- must have experience in Railway signaling ,Interlocking Systems
- Experience in high integrity systems engineering, preferably in real-time and/or embedded environments.
- Knowledge of having applied systems engineering practices in one or more mission critical, software intensive application domains.
- Thorough understanding of systems engineering and safety engineering life cycles and configuration management processes.
- Familiarity with hardware and software lifecycles, associated tools, techniques and methodologies. Exposure to IEEE, ISO, IEC, AREMA or Cenelec standards.
