Education : MS / MTech / PhD in Computer Science or Statistics Or Mathematics Or Operational Research OR Industrial Engineering Or Supply Chain Management .
Job Location : Tire 1 Cities in India (Bangalore / Pune / Mumbai / Gurgaon / Kolkata / Hyderabad / Chennai)
The Managing Consultant is directly accountable/responsible for successful delivery in OR/SCM spaces initiatives either in a business consulting role or in industries applying/developing solutions in OR/SCM spaces either in Services or Manufacturing domain. This includes problem characterization, requirements gathering, data collection, analysis and presentation using latest state of the art data mining and advanced analytics. The Managing Consultant will have demonstrated hands-on technical knowledge & leadership designing either: risk, predictive modeling, or customer analytical solutions. The Consultant understands business challenges & translates them into process/technical solutions, as well as manages client relationships within context of individual role.
Competency Skills Set :
- 5+ years consulting/customer delivery experience as a consultant and/or architect
- Candidates shall have good exposure in using Statistical Or optimization tools and techniques and their applications in a full problem solving life-cycle.
- Thorough exposure to at least one of the IT tools in the optimization domain is expected, e.g., ILOG, SAS, SPSS, LP Solve, CPLEX, etc.
- Key experience with large systems architecture and understanding of:
- Scale, reliability, performance, and high availability systems
- Various different deployment topologies
- Object oriented design
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle impromptu and formal discussions with clients
- Help clients develop technical approaches to their business processes, educating them on Team works and other technologies and their applications to Business Process Management.
